Sump pumping is a primary dewatering method where water is collected in a sump pit and pumped out to keep the area dry. It’s a simple, quick setup suitable for smaller projects and sites. It’s not practical for deep excavations, and there’s limited capacity for water removal.

Ejector Systems

Ejector systems are used for sites with deep, stratified soils where both fine and coarse-grained soils are present. An injector system is effective in mixed soil conditions and can manage deep excavation dewatering. However, it has a very complex setup and operation and requires higher operational costs.

Dewatering Socks and Bags

Used for sediment and erosion control, dewatering socks and bags filter water, and removing sediments and contaminants. These are great and effective for sediment control and are user-friendly. They’re unsuitable for high water volumes, and regular maintenance is required.
